AUSPACK PLUS 2011

Thursday, 04 March, 2010

The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association and organisers Exhibition and Trade Fairs (ETF) have announced that the biennial packaging and processing machinery exhibition AUSPACK will be shifting gear in 2011 and changing its name, dates and targeting a much broader market.

According to Event Director Rob Keen, the significant change to the exhibition will be the expanded format to include the processing and plastics sectors of the food, beverage and manufacturing industries.

“We felt it was time to expand the exhibition to enable all of the plastics, processing and production areas of the industry the opportunity to showcase their products from 2011 under one roof,” Keen said.

“From 2011 the exhibition will be known as AUSPACK PLUS and, by expanding the event to reach the processing and plastics sectors, AUSPACK PLUS will become the leading multiplatform exhibition to showcase packaging, processing and plastics machinery, materials and associated technologies in Australasia,” he said.

“We have also moved the show earlier in the calendar year and AUSPACK PLUS 2011 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from Tuesday the 22nd through to Friday the 25th of March,” Keen said.

AUSPACK PLUS is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association.
