F&B manufacturing precinct in Qld seeks tennants
Based in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, TURBINE’s Collaborative Food & Beverage Manufacturing Precinct will be designed to enable SME food and beverage manufacturers to innovate, scale and access export opportunities.
With construction on the precinct set to commence shortly, TURBINE is seeking expressions of interest from parties interested in leasing space in the new facility.
CEO and Project Manager Andrew Eves Brown (pictured above) said a total area of up to 9100 m2 is available for lease for food and beverage production.
“This area is available for manufacturing activities and is supported by a number of shared services such as steam, refrigeration and wastewater treatment.
“In addition, tenancy sizes can be negotiated, subject to availability, and we are offering financial support for fitout and equipment. Tenants will also have access to a collaborative industry-led R&D Centre and warehousing.”
Floor space of 2100 m2 has been allocated for smaller tenancies — initially set at 300 m2 each. Up to 7000 m2 has been allocated for larger partnership tenants.

The high-tech manufacturing facility will be designed to help foster collaboration, innovation and scalability among SMEs in the food and beverage sector, propelling the industry forward collectively. The project has received grant funding from the Australian Commonwealth Government as part of the Modern Manufacturing Strategy.
Tenancies are expected to be available from mid-2025 and the EOI will close on Friday, 24 May 2024 at 5:00pm.
