Marketing and sustainable packaging round table

Tuesday, 26 February, 2013

RMIT University’s Centre for Design and the Sustainable Packaging Alliance will host a one-day round table on 21 March to explore the marketing advantages of packaging for sustainability.

The round table aims to bridge the gap for marketing professionals, packaging technologists, product innovation and procurement managers, with high-level and practical presentations from speakers in a range of industries.

Among the presentations will be an overview of the Australian Food and Grocery Council’s Sustainable Packaging Toolkit, which arms marketing professionals with the knowledge they need to have a greater understanding and positive influence on decisions about sustainable packaging design, marketing and end of life.

The round table will examine such questions as: What strategies can help build and market authentic sustainability stories for your brands? How can you link sustainable packaging to brand and customer value?
