Mueller Temp-Plate heat exchanger
The Mueller Temp-Plate heat exchanger is suitable for heat transferuse in a wide range of industries including brewing, pharmaceutical, dairy, food, beverage and waste treatment.
Designed around application needs to almost any shape or size, the Temp-Plate is a versatile heat transfer product that can be supplied in alloys including stainless steel, super duplex and titanium.
In applications where surface finish is critical, Temp-Plate is supplied with an electro-polished and machine-polished surface for increased hygiene.
The plate is capable of being designed for safe operating pressures up to 350 psi for 16 gauge stainless steel and up to 240 psi for 14 gauge carbon steel. This means high-pressure steam or hot water, etc, can safely be used to heat a product to a specific temperature.
Problems common to conventional, preformed heat transfer surfaces, such as fatigue failure due to condensation build-up are specifically reduced due to the free-flow configuration design.
