Key Technology Information Analytics software for digital sorters
Key Technology has announced the availability of Information Analytics, a suite of software capabilities embedded within their digital sorters.
The software can be used to manage raw materials and optimise processes upstream and downstream of the sorter, in addition to improving the sorter’s accept/reject decisions.
The sorter continuously collects and stores a variety of information about the sort process and the product flowing through the sorter, including the objects’ dimensions, colour and other image information, good product characteristics, defects and foreign material details, as well as sorting operation data such as detection of specific defect categories and ejection activity.
The sorter can process the collected data in order to drive more intelligent sort operations and/or generate statistical reports.
