Increase hygiene and cleanliness with scrubbers

The Tennant T-Series range of scrubbers claims to be essential to maintaining the highest level of hygiene in food production and storage areas.

Tennant’s latest technology, ec-H2O, is a green, cleaning technology that electrically converts plain tap water to perform like a powerful detergent, without any added chemicals.

Features of the ec-H20 include:

  • Safer for operators because there is no handling or measuring of dangerous detergents which could result in skin irritation or burns. The Hygenic Tanks ensure quick and easy access to clean the tanks of the T1, T3, T5 and T7 resulting in improved air quality by preventing mould or bacteria growth.
  • Safer for the environment  because both ec-H2O and FaST claim a 70% reduction in water use compared to conventional scrubbing. FaST-PAKs use recycled space-saving packaging and ec-H2O eliminates detergent production, packaging, transportation and disposal altogether.
  • Safer for the public because the scrubbers operate quietly with the T5 operating at 68 dBA (at the operator’s ear), which is comparable to normal conversation levels. Floors are clean, dry and safe to walk on immediately after being cleaned, meaning that cleaning can occur any time of day without closing off areas to the public.

Equipped with the option of ec-H2O or FaST, the scrubbers use minimal water while the parabolic squeegee ensures 100% water pick-up resulting in cleaner, safer floors. Since floors just scrubbed by the T-Series Scrubbers are dry and safe to walk on straight away, Tennant ec-H2O and FaST is certified by the National Floor Safety Institute for increasing floor traction by up to 21%, reducing slip-and-fall accidents.

A number of the company's scrubbers carry the ‘Smart Approved Watermark’ from the Water Services Association of Australia for using 70% less water than conventional scrubbing methods. The ec-H2O and FaST are NSF-certified for use on floor surfaces in and around food processing areas.

The range of scrubbers includes:
