ifm efector full-metal inductive sensors

ifm efector’s full-metal inductive sensors are suitable for use in the harsh environment of the food and beverage industry.

Benefits include: increased sensing ranges and correction factor 1 for steel and stainless steel; wide temperature range of 0-100°C; temperature shock resistant even in case of frequent temperature fluctuations; high ingress protection: IP67/68/69K; food-grade housing materials; resistant to high-pressure cleaning and aggressive cleaning agents.

The increased sensing ranges for non-flush installation give users more safety in case of mechanical tolerances.

The sensors are suitable for applications up to 100°C that undergo frequent cleaning operations and temperature shocks, and feature high resistance to cleaning agents.

A video of the sensors in operation in the food industry is available at http://www.ifm.com/ifmaus/news/full-metal-sensors-for-the-food-industry.htm.
