PepsiCo achieves 3.5 Health Star Rating with chip ranges
PepsiCo Australia announced that it has achieved a 3.5 Health Star Rating (HSR) across the entire Smith’s Thinly Cut and Baked potato chip ranges.
The company is a long-term supporter of the HSR initiative, with 100% of PepsiCo’s foods and beverages now displaying the HSR on pack.
Alexia Horley, General Manager of Australia Foods at PepsiCo, said: “For more than 15 years, we have been transforming our snacks portfolio and providing more choice for consumers. Reducing sodium, without compromising on taste and flavour, is a key priority for the business. We are delighted to have achieved a 3.5 HSR across the entire Smith’s Thinly Cut and Baked ranges and offer consumers more positive choices whilst delivering great taste.”
The Thinly Cut and Baked HSR rating follows the brand’s 2022 launch of ‘Simply’, a potato chips range on Australian supermarket shelves that has a HSR of 4.
