Bookings open for AIP packaging training course
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) is running a virtual packaging training course on 25 March.
Bookings are open for the ‘Fundamentals of Plastic in Packaging’ seminar which will be hosted by AIP Education Director Professor Pierre Pienaar.
The packaging training course will help participants build understanding of plastics materials and processing — helping workers avoid common errors made when selecting the most suitable polymer. The course will give a good account of the importance of plastics and the part they play in packaging.
The virtual seminar is structured to accommodate anyone with little prior knowledge to the packaging industry as well as those who are new to plastics.
By the completion of the training, participants should feel more confident in material selection and have a better knowledge of application and what the various recycling symbols mean. As an additional feature, attendees are invited to bring along problem examples or product failures for general discussion or private consultation.
All participants will attain 12.5 Certified Professional Development points towards the Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) Designation.
