Better packaging through professionalism
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) is re-designing its website, taking the association into the world of email, online newsletters, up-to-date-news, events, technical papers and more. The AIP website will be the main communication tool from 2005 to members, supporters and industry and van be visited at www.aipack.com.au
The AIP is looking for interested companies and supporters who would like to actively participate in the new website. There are a number of levels in which a company can become involved with the website. For further information on how to become involved email george@aipack.com.au
The AIP was founded in 1963 in response to a need for packaging technologists to interact and to provide professional identity. The institute is the professional body for everyone involved in packaging, either in a technical or commercial capacity, as a user or as a supplier to the packaging industry.
Membership to the Australian Institute of Packaging is open to anyone interested in packaging. The institute accommodates people from different backgrounds with different experience and qualifications through a range of membership gradings. Membership gradings can be of benefit to some employers when comparing new position candidates and can be used by members as post-nominals.
All members receive the same benefits within the AIP and the core aim of the institute is the improvement of knowledge in packaging technology.
