Ready meals manufacturer Creative Cuisine is benefiting from the speed, reliability and convenience of the GT0 tray sealer supplied by tray-sealing specialist Proseal Australia.

Founded by Rodger Graff in 1994, Creative Cuisine manufactures a full range of seafood products under the Shells Seafood brand name along with an extensive range of frozen ready meals.

Creative Cuisine required a tray-sealing machine to manufacture new lines of frozen ready meals and asked Proseal Australia for an appropriate solution.

Proseal Australia proposed the use of its fully automatic GT0 tray sealer, specifically developed for demanding food production environments. The machine’s intelligent tray-spacing system provides accurate tray positioning, enabling high cycle speeds to be achieved in a very controlled manner, while the auto-tool system enables tooling changes to be carried out in less than two minutes.

The touch-screen control delivers a graphic-based operating system that makes the GT0 user friendly. Specific recipes are stored in the screen and are retrieved with the touch of a button, meaning that product and tool changes can be completed quickly and easily.

Creative Cuisine is now looking to add more Proseal equipment to its operation.
