Multipond MP14-2400/1250 H series weigher for portions 500-3000 g

JL Lennard has introduced the Multipond MP14-2400/1250 H series weigher for fully automatic weighing of sticky products like fresh or marinated meat, poultry and fish in portions of 500 to 3000 g. The automated handling of such products is challenging, and normally results in these products being weighed manually or semiautomatically. Multipond’s solution is claimed to be gentle on products and easy to clean.

Based on a surface profile instead of corkscrew feeders, controlled feeding is made possible, even with difficult product. The stepped profile on the cone and feed trays minimises the contact surface between the product and feed-tray surface, which leads to lower product adhesion.

The solution does not require additional equipment to control the feeding of such products, like a screw conveyor. The product is not exposed to any additional mechanical influences, except for the usual vibration from the feed trays. The advantage of this surface technology for weighing poultry, meat and fish is gentler handling without damaging the product.

Multipond weighers are fully washdown, and all contact parts can be quickly and easily removed for cleaning. Each weigh head is fitted with an integrated brass calibration weight to ensure weighing accuracy is maintained under all conditions. The weighers are manufactured in Germany.
