Matcon IBC-based Powder Packer

Mixing and packing the same recipe over and over is easy, even when producing at high capacity and automation level. Today, recipes are constantly changing, creating a bigger challenge, especially when the appropriate cleaning required between recipes is taken into account.

The Powder Packer module is designed to fill B2B sacks directly from Matcon IBCs without the need for secondary feeders. The unique Cone Valve technology provides a controlled discharge process and creates mass flow discharge of material, protecting against product segregation, ensuring a quality final product every time. Fast and accurate packing is achieved into 10–25 kg bags at a rate of 1–2 bags/min. Due to the simple design and cartridge-style, tool-free, swap-out heads, the Powder Packer can be quickly and easily cleaned down between recipe changes.
