Energy drink developed, tested and tasted by AI
Imagine an artificial intelligence (AI) that not only designs a drink but also carefully selects its ingredients, formulates the complete recipe and tastes it for perfection. What was once only possible in sci-fi movies is now a reality — an energy drink developed by AI, based on the instruction of Hungarian producer Hell Energy.
The drink is now being produced in Europe by machines following instructions from a more conscious machine.
To develop it, the AI scoured the internet to analyse data on energy drink ingredients, sales figures, consumer feedback, health research and industry trends. With this knowledge, it created an energy drink with a blend of vitamins and amino acids, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and nutritional standards.
To fine-tune the flavour, the AI created three variations and digitised them. After tasting all three and analysing data and statistics, it uses its predictive intelligence to select the winning flavour — Tutti-frutti and Berry-blast. The AI also took charge of designing the packaging of the energy drink.
The energy drink’s recipe resides on a secure computer within Hell Energy’s Hungarian factory to protect its secrecy, fortified by advanced security measures. A copy of the recipe is stored in a Swiss vault for backup.
The drink passed various quality control and blind tastings, validating the AI’s capabilities. In future, AI systems could be used to accelerate product development cycles significantly.
The drink is set to make its debut in over 60 countries later this year.
