The New Food Conference celebrates lab-grown meat
Anuga, one of the world’s largest trade fairs for food and drinks, is concentrating for the first time on themes relating to cultivated meat and dairy productions. Its key topic ‘Transform’ will also bring up such trends as clean label, alternative meat proteins and plant-based foods and proteins.
The New Food Conference, running 10–11 October in Cologne, will see speakers give insights into the various ways that sustainable cultivated protein technology can be used. The conference may also be attended remotely thanks to Anuga @Home.
The event will see talks about the production of healthy and sustainable animal-based products while also introducing products that mix plant-based and cultivated ingredients. Other topics covered will include lab-grown meat and ethical approaches to food.
