NSW manufacturers highlighted at Fine Food Australia

As Fine Food Australia approaches, exhibitors and speakers are busy preparing for the show, which is sponsored by the NSW Government.

The NSW Government is supporting 18 NSW food and beverage manufacturers to attend the event, featuring anything from sustainable tea and native tonics to edible insects and Bowral bee cough serum.

The show, running at ICC Sydney from 11–14 September, is an opportunity for NSW businesses to showcase what is manufactured in the state.

It will feature a ‘Flavours of NSW’ zone where some of the state’s food and beverage manufacturers will showcase products to international and domestic buyers, distributors and investors.

Businesses in this zone received a subsidy and attended a Trade Show Readiness and Marketing workshop which provided specialist export and exhibition advice. During and after the event, they will receive assistance from other NSW Government business support experts.

NSW businesses in the zone include:

Workshops

  • Concept to Consumer Masterclass: Presented by Straight To The Source and food scientist Dr Belinda Chapman from Quantal Bioscience, the masterclass will be about food science and how to create exceptional food products.
  • AFAB’s State of Play Report Launch Breakfast: Led by AFAB’s Wes Lambert, this breakfast will discuss the future of Australia’s foodservice industry, examining issues such as agriculture, sustainability, technology and supply chains.
  • Foodie Coaches Profit Workshops: Unleash Your Business Potential: This workshop by Foodie Coaches will focus on reducing food and labour costs, boosting productivity, maximising profit margins and driving customer spending.
  • FSAA Foodservice Today & Tomorrow Conference: Co-hosted with Fine Food Australia, this workshop will be on sustainability and innovation. David Koch, economics expert, will also share his views on the future of the Australian and global economy.
