What's brewing in China?

Brew Drinks China 2007 (BDC 2007) will be held from August 16-18 2007 at Qingdao International Convention Centre, Qingdao.

Organised by China Light Industry Machinery Association, Tsingtao Brewery Co Ltd, Business & Industrial Trade Fairs Ltd and Qingdao International Exhibition & Trade Co Ltd, BDC 2007 will focus on all the latest technologies and equipment for beer, beverage, wine and dairy product manufacture and processing.

It will include brew and beverage technology, filling equipment, labelling equipment, packaging equipment, water treatment equipment, laboratory instrumentation, PET technology, etc, from more than 100 national and international exhibitors.

The exhibitors at BDC 2007 come from 14 countries and regions such as Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Britain, Ukraine, USA, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

At BDC 2005, 3000 professionals visited the fair. The high-quality visitors came from breweries, malt producers, beverage and water manufacturers, dairy processing plants, edible oil manufacturers, alcoholic beverage factories, wine and champagne manufacturers, canned food companies, hotels and catering companies, etc. Over 80% of them were major decision makers, senior management executives, engineers, technologists and purchasers.

Besides showcasing the latest technologies, held concurrently with BDC 2007 will be a forum which will focus on energy-saving and environmentally friendly technology for the brew and beverage industries, the standard of sanitation and safety of the liquid food as well as a wrapper for improving the validity of dairy products.
