New headquarters for Rockwell Automation
After 25 years in Blackburn, Rockwell Automation has moved its South Pacific headquarters to Bayswater.
The AU$4 million facility, located on Mountain Highway, includes a modern customer training centre to support local and regional industry and conduct proof-of-concept demonstration to clients, a dedicated project engineering staging area and a test and repair facility.
The new headquarters were officially opened on 8 March. In attendance were Mark Dreyfus, the Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Innovation; Heidi Victoria, Member for Bayswater; Tim Pip, Victorian Director of the Australian Industry Group; Bob Ruff, President Asia Pacific, Rockwell Automation; and Ted Crandall, Senior Vice President, Finance. Rockwell’s entire leadership team from the Asia Pacific Region joined the guests to open the new premises.
“Bayswater is an ideal location for access to both local and regional customers. The new facility provides space for the growing team at Rockwell Automation and includes a Customer Briefing Room featuring a nine metre wide display wall focussing on plant-wide optimisation and machine builder performance,” said Twain Drewett, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, Rockwell Automation.
