Wednesday, 29 August, 2012

Inolex has received approval from the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) for the use of its Lexolube FG 220 OCL in food processing. The lubricant can be used in all food processing applications except for dairy, where contact with food product is a possibility.

“Certification by the MAF helps to open a new market of Inolex,” said Tyler Housel, Lubricants Business Director at Inolex. “Their standards are high and we are pleased with the approval.”

Inolex’s synthetic esters are used to produce lubricants for food processing, textile manufacturing, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, chain lubricants and low-temperature oils and greases.
