Free drought feasibility consultations

Wednesday, 25 July, 2007

Dairy Australia is now providing free, 90 minute consultations for dairy farmers and industries affected by feed or stock-water shortages.

The "feed.FIBRE.future' program, made possible by a $400,000 grant from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), allows interested parties to have a one-on-one, confidential discussion with an experienced consultant to help assess their current situation.

The consultant will assist in reviewing feasible feeding options and help develop implementation action plans.

More information on the program can be found at www.dairyaustralia.com.au or by calling a Regional Drought Coordinator.
