Circular packaging economy guide launches
An overview of the Global Packaging Design for Recycling Guide will be provided in an hour-long online seminar on 4 October. Following the overview, a discussion panel composed of World Packaging Organisation, Efficient Consumer Response Community and University of Applied Sciences Vienna members will be run to cover the guide.
Global Packaging Design for Recycling Guide is an introductory text to understand best practices of circular economies and how to design recyclable packaging. Examples are provided in the guide, which offer inspiration for infrastructure and systems for recycling and recoverability at the regional and local level. Food and non-food products can benefit from the guide, which is applicable to primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
Packaging industry members can register for the event or if interested in getting reading now, can download the guide itself.
