Wonderful time of year to be a chocolatier
Leading up to Easter, Koko Black has increased its production by 25%, with production of the eggs and bunnies beginning in October 2023 to meet anticipated demand.
Each year, the brand expands its story world and Koko Critters take new and exciting adventures into the Koko Forest. This year the Koko Critters have their bags packed and the time has come to set off in search of fun. Koko Koala, Pip Platypus and Percy Penguin have all packed chocolatey treats and are set to explore and feast beside the creek, beach and bush.
At the Melbourne Creative Centre, the Koko Black team has produced over:
- 200,000 Easter bunnies
- Over 1,000,000 Easter eggs
- Over 200,000 award-winning praline eggs
Of the 1,000,000+ Easter Eggs made:
- 55,000 are hollow and flavoured
- 750,000 are solid eggs
- 300,000 are flavour-filled eggs
Traditionally the week of Easter is Koko Black’s busiest week annually and this year is predicted to be the same.
