Filling system for ready meals

As food companies are demanding more flexibility and reliability from their packaging lines, modular equipment designs, space efficiency, ease of cleaning, and the ability to handle multiple package sizes and products have become key considerations when selecting packaging equipment.

The ready meal processor has to deliver its products to the market to more demanding time schedules. Consequently, the production line must be very flexible to accept various product formulations and packages, with features such as quick changeover, faster speeds and increased automation, all while maintaining the integrity of hand-filled product.

Multi-Fill's MPF (multi-purpose filler) meets that challenge and is available in semi-automatic and automatic models.

The MPF machine deposits foods such as cooked pasta (short and long style), cooked and IQF rice, couscous, tabouleh, various fruits and vegetables, refrigerated salads, shredded meats and other difficult to handle products into a variety of containers (trays, plates, cups, bowls, cans, bags, jars, etc.) at speeds ranging from 20 to 120 containers per minute.

The mobile unit can be quickly cleaned for a product changeover or moved to a different production line in minutes, ready to fill a different product into a different container with no or few change parts. It can be positioned over many different conveying systems, continuous or intermittent, horizontal or vertical bagging units.

Multi-Fill is represented in Oceania by HBM Packaging Technologies.
