AIP Australasian Packaging Conference program revealed
The 2023 AIP Australasian Packaging Conference provisional program has been released.
To be held at the Crown Promenade, Melbourne from 28–29 March, the conference program has been curated to deliver a two-day educational program that will cover a range of topics relating to the theme 2025 & BEYOND.
The program will feature 65 speakers over two days, with AIP recommending two delegates from each company attend to cover the concurrent sessions.
As industries head towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets, the conference will look at how that is possible, covering topics such as refusal, reduction, reuse, recycle and circularity. The speakers will look at what lies beyond 2025 and what the industry needs to do to design out waste, eliminate problematic materials, reduce single use plastic and ensure that we are capable of collecting, sorting, recovering and recycling all the materials and packaging formats in Australia and New Zealand.
Experts in all areas of the waste hierarchy will be present, providing the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals who are working towards and beyond 2025. The conference will attract delegates from all facets of the industry, including food, beverage, pharmaceutical and all involved in the various processes of manufacturing. The whole of industry is invited to attend the packaging conference in Australia and New Zealand and be a part of the discussion.
During the two-day event the AIP will also be running the 2023 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards at the gala dinner on the 28th of March.
