Konica Minolta and MiR to launch two robots at CeMAT 2025

Konica Minolta Australia, in partnership with global mobile robotics company Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), will be launching two autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at CeMAT Australia 2025, which is being held from 22–24 July at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park.

The MiR MC250 Mobile Cobot and the MiR1200 Pallet Jack will be exhibited on stand T18 to show visitors how these artificial intelligence (AI)-powered systems can transform logistics and production workflows.

MiR MC250 Mobile Cobot combines an AMR with a Universal Robots (UR) arm, powered by MiR’s navigation technology, to bring mobility to collaborative robotics. Key features include: seamless machine tending and quality inspection capabilities; flexible deployment across multiple tasks and production lines; built-in safety features for close human collaboration; quick redeployment with minimal setup time; and suitability for space-constrained environments.

MiR1200 Pallet Jack is a next-generation AMR designed for high-speed, high-accuracy pallet transport in manufacturing and warehousing environments. Key features include: AI-based perception for fast pallet detection; high-capacity battery with fast charging to support 24/7 operations; compliance with ISO 3691-4 safety standards; and payload capacity of up to 1200 kg.

Also on display will be the MiR1350 with Shelf Lift, a heavy-duty AMR that can transport payloads of up to 1350 kg.

Manglesh Jain, Robotics Business Manager, Konica Minolta Australia, said, “We’re excited to bring the MiR MC250 and MiR1200 Pallet Jack to Australian shores for the first time. These solutions offer practical automation that can be quickly integrated into real-world operations. CeMAT is the perfect opportunity for local businesses to see their potential first-hand.”

Masayuki Mase, Channel Development Manager, Teradyne Robotics (parent company of MiR), said, “Both robots represent a new generation of intralogistics automation. We’re proud to launch them in Australia in partnership with Konica Minolta and show how they can drive immediate impact for Australian businesses.”

The mobile robots will be launched at CeMAT on 23 July at 10:30 am, and daily group demonstration sessions will be held on stand T18 at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
