Collecting water or other liquids for transport and analysis can present a number of problems. Hard plastic containers such as specimen jars are commonly used. However, these take up lots of space prior to use, making them difficult to store and transport. After use they can also present problems with disposal, taking up valuable waste capacity.
An alternative to these containers are Stand Up Sample Bags. They store flat until ready for use, when the gusseted bottom flattens out, allowing the bag to stand up without the need for a rack or holder.
After the sample has been tested, the bags can then be collapsed for disposal, taking up far less space. Stand Up Bags are sterilised and are available in a selection of sizes ranging from 100 mL to over 2 L.
