Stable Micro Systems' TA.XTPlus Texture Analyser features completely programmable test sequences, long file names, true stress-strain ability, additional multichannel data acquisition and complete integration with any Windows-compatible program.

The analyser can be fitted with 1, 5, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 or 750 kg load cells; and changing load cells takes only a few minutes.

SMS’s texture analysers can be used to quantify textural parameters such as quantifying the adhesive and tack characteristics of an array of products.

The TA-525 Capillary Fixture Kit can be used for calculating the apparent viscosity of thick fluids and pastes, while the TA.XT2i or TA.XTPlus Texture Analysers can be used to quantify just about every film characteristic imaginable.

SMS’s texture analysers can also be used for testing conducting standardised tests for gels and to explore gel properties that are important in gel applications.
