Thursday, 06 January, 2011 | Supplied by: Quikstix Australia Pty Ltd

Quikstix is a beverage delivery device which contains separate ingredients to make a quality, convenient plunger-style coffee or tea in any location. It is also suitable for any hot or cold beverage including chocolate, cordial, herbal infusions, isotonic drinks and soup.

The device consists of a liquid-proof paper tube divided into two sections. One is micro-perforated containing the infusible ingredient (eg, real coffee, tea, etc) while the handle section, with its tear-off end tag, contains the other ingredients to make the beverage (sweetener and/or whitener etc). Simply tear off the end tag, tip the contents into a cup, add hot water then stir in the perforated end to infuse and mix the beverage.

Manufactured from recycled and biodegradable materials, the product is IP protected. It is suitable for applications such as camping, fishing, boating, travel and retail grocery markets, as well as office, catering, convenience food services, airlines, coach travel, motels and community services.
