Pepperl+Fuchs high-temperature sensor cordsets and cables

Friday, 07 January, 2011 | Supplied by: Automated Control Pty Ltd

Pepperl+Fuchs has released a range of cables and cordsets for high-temperature environments. With improved resistance to weld slag, the cables can handle temperature ranges of -40 up to +150°C for extended time periods of up to 3000 h.

The cables and cordsets are constructed of a TPE-class jacket material and a temperature-resistant conductor insulation material (ETFE). This provides temperature resistance at the jacket, and at the conductor insulation levels. They are resistant to temperature, weather, fuels, oils and abrasion.
