The Metrohm ProcessLab is an at-line analyser that follows on from the success of the Titrando range of laboratory titrators. The system uses the Titrando titrator and tiamo software.

The industrial PC and I/O controller is suitable for sending of information to process control systems and ProcessLab can be used at several different points in the manufacturing process.

The system will automatically analyse pH, acid value and salt content.

The ProcessLab can be equipped with a high-speed homogeniser for dissolution of solid samples as well as hot water to help dissolve powders, eg, instant soup.

Typical analysis for these are pH, acid value, chloride content as well as such parameters as vitamin C value.

All of these analyses are carried out in the ProcessLab without operator intervention and results are automatically relayed to the process controller so remedial action or pass/failure for product quality is regulated automatically.
