Mettler Toledo FiveGo dissolved oxygen meter

Tuesday, 11 May, 2010 | Supplied by: Mettler-Toledo Ltd

The FiveGo dissolved oxygen can be used to simplify measuring of dissolved oxygen and is suitable for numerous food and beverage applications as well as for use in other industry segments.

The instrument has an intuitive operation: ‘read’ starts a measurement, ‘cal’ a calibration and ‘setup’ makes users access/change the measurement setting.

The LE611 and LE612 DO sensors measure the dissolved oxygen concentration galvanically instead of polarographically. These sensors do not need any maintenance, so no electrolyte refilling or membrane change is needed. The galvanic DO sensors do not need polarisation time.

Features such as barometric pressure and salinity compensation are claimed to ensure accurate measurements. The instrument has an integrated electrode check to warn when the performance of the sensor deteriorates.
