Katronic dual-path ultrasonic flowmeter

The Katronic dual-path ultrasonic flowmeter is a portable device designed to provide flow measurement and detect disturbances in flow, which are generally a result of change to the pipe through which the liquid is flowing. These changes in fluid condition cause the flow profile to shift, with the point of maximum fluid velocity no longer being located in the centre of the pipe. The dual-path ultrasonic flowmeter can be used to improve measurement results under non-ideal installation conditions.

The flowmeter is lightweight and tactile, to enable one-handed use, and features stainless steel sensors, cable and connectors. It can perform pump testing and inspection, in-line flowmeter performance verification, clean-in-process system testing and monitoring of hydraulic systems.

Its robust IP 65 enclosure features an added rubber shock protector with a battery life of up to 24 h, with standard NiMH AA batteries for simple replacement. The flowmeter also features a large data logger and software for sample and data transfer, with optional pipe wall thickness gauge.
