The Jumo Midas S05 pressure transmitter is a completely welded measuring system made of stainless steel and can be used in almost all substances, even under rough conditions. It offers optimum safety in view of leakage of the process agent.
The silicon probe can withstand extreme overloads with millions of pressure cycles, even for the lowest measuring ranges. This durability while under extreme pressure is important for applications in the area of pump control where often pressure peaks and cavitation must be considered.
There are a number of thread forms and sizes for connection to the process; ranges are from 250 mbar to 40 bar in relative and absolute pressure.
The pressure transmitter has good long-term stability, is temperature compensated and has a non-linearity of less than 0.5%. All requirements which are common on the market for EMC, vibration and shock durability have been fulfilled and exceeded making the S05 suitable for nearly all applications.
