The Simple Steps package for produce is an easy-open, microwaveable package that offers a quick and easy way to steam fresh vegetables in the microwave.

The Simple Steps package incorporates a highly permeable material that provides extended product shelf life for perishable products such as broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus. The vacuum skin format conforms to the contours of the product improving presentation, merchandising appeal and shelf life. This technology is suitable for fresh and frozen vegetables in single and multiple servings and is suitable for retail, foodservice and vending machines.

The package can be refrigerated for up to 10 days or can be frozen if not used by a specific date.

The easy-open, microwavable package is designed with Cryovac vacuum skin packaging technology and a self-venting feature that eliminates the need to handle hot, messy pouches associated with current heat and eat microwavable packaging.

The Simple Steps package is versatile, an entire meal can be ready in minutes. There are options available for packaging pre-cooked entrees or fresh vegetables.
