Exair Heavy Duty Dry Vacs now CE compliant

Monday, 16 March, 2015 | Supplied by: Compressed Air Australia Pty Ltd

Exair has announced that its Heavy Duty Dry Vacs have met the safety, health and environmental standards of the European Union that are required to attain the CE mark.

The industrial duty vacuum cleaner can vacuum high volumes of dry materials. The wear-resistant design is suitable for the clean-up of abrasive materials like steel shot, garnet, metal chips and sand, and can also be used for general-purpose applications.

The vacuum cleaner is compressed air powered and attaches to a 205 L open-top drum. It is quiet at 82 dBA (half the noise of electric vacs), making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Surrounding air is kept clean by the filter bag that traps particles when vacuuming dusty materials. There are no motors and impellers to clog or wear out.

The system includes a lever lock drum lid, shutoff valve, re-usable filter bag, 3 m polyethylene static resistant hose (38 mm ID), hose hanger, 6.1 m compressed air hose with swivel fittings, pressure gauge and heavy-duty aluminium chip wand.
