Exair 1180SS Atto Super air nozzle for blowoff, cooling and drying

Friday, 20 April, 2012 | Supplied by: Compressed Air Australia Pty Ltd

Exair has released the 1180SS Atto Super air nozzle, designed for precise blowoff. The nozzle is suitable for blowoff, cooling and drying applications in general industrial, high-temperature, food, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and corrosive environments.

The nozzle, Exair claims, provides a narrowly focused air pattern delivering small, precise blowoff with an efficient, high-volume, high-velocity airflow. With a durable Type 316 stainless steel construction, the nozzle has a length of 12.7 mm and a diameter of 4 mm, which may permit installation in tight spaces.

High amplification of air flow and a blowing force of 56.7 g are achieved with minimal air consumption of 2.5 scfm at 80 psig. The nozzle’s airflow cannot be blocked, which means the nozzle meets the OSHA standard for dead-end pressure 29 CFR 1910.242(b). Sound level is low at 58 dBA and meets OSHA noise requirement 29 CFR 1910.95(a). The nozzle has been certified CE compliant by an independent laboratory.

The nozzle is designed to replace existing wasteful nozzles or open pipes. The compressed air inlet is male M4 x 0.5.
