DIN rail transmitters

Status Instruments (UK) has released the SEM1600 series of low-profile universal input DIN rail transmitters.

Inputs include PT100, thermocouple types K, J, E, N, T, R and S, mV and mA with 4-20 mA 2-wire loop-powered output version and a 3-wire voltage output version.

All versions feature input to output isolation rated at 500 VDC, reverse connection and overvoltage protection; simple configuration is via the USB PC interface, powered by the PC and uses a standard USB cable with the free software provided.

The series is also provided with a user push-button trim, allowing trim adjustments at both offset and span. This function can be locked during configuration if not required.

The range LED indicates out of range input during normal operation or during user trim it is used to indicate the stage of trim.

The low profiles of these transmitters make them suitable for OEM applications.
