Capping head load tester

Monday, 06 July, 2009 | Supplied by: SI Instruments

SI Instruments has released TehloTest, a wireless edition of its Head Load Tester which is used in wineries throughout Australia.

Measuring the head load of capping machinery is now even easier as the wireless TehloTest can be operated from a distance of up to 30 m.

Suitable for use in the production line, the device consists of two parts: the imitation bottle, containing the load cell, and the user interface, containing the control module. The possibilities extend further with EasyPlot graphing software, making it possible to obtain a full graph of the capping force on a computer screen.

Providing highly accurate measurement with a fast response rate in a strong, durable, robust housing, the TehloTest is easy to use, with clear intuitive controls. A fully adjustable stainless steel BVS head with fine adjustment and locking screw allows for common wine bottle sizes, while still accommodating individual caps or unusual bottles. The included spacer allows for taller bottles, while additional spacers can be added if necessary.
