Canadian farm chooses Wyma Solutions for post-harvest processing
Canada’s ATV Farms has selected Wyma Solutions to deliver two large post-harvest vegetable grading and packing lines for carrots and onions. Wyma (in conjunction with North America-based partner Volm Companies) was selected for its comprehensive range of post-harvest solutions, equipment and ongoing after-sales support.
Located in the Holland Marsh area, Ontario, ATV Farms is one of Canada’s larger growers, packers and shippers of fresh vegetables. Founded in 2007 by the Agresti Family, ATV Farms now supplies root vegetables to retail, wholesale and chain stores in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, South America and the United Kingdom.
“ATV Farms is an impressive operation built on hard work and a commitment to ensuring that consumers have access to the very best produce available. I am thrilled that Wyma, together with our partner Volm, has an opportunity to contribute further to this success,” said Andrew Barclay, Managing Director, Wyma Solutions.
Wyma and Volm are now in the detailed design phase of this project.
It is expected that equipment will be installed and commissioned later in 2021.
