Spray Nozzle Engineering GEN-4 Drip-Pro spray dry nozzle check valve
Spray Nozzle Engineering has released the GEN-4 Drip-Pro spray dry nozzle check valve for dairy, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, bioprocessing and other industrial spray-drying applications.
The original Drip-Pro was designed in response to the problem of post drier shutdown drip. In many spray driers, dripping can occur at the end of the run or after flushing, resulting in a concentration of drips which leads to scorched particle deposits and final product contamination. It can also lead to nozzle flush water entering the chamber or fluid bed, causing contamination and cleaning downtime, if the drier chamber is too cool to evaporate the water droplets.
The full flow port system of the GEN-4 Drip-Pro is designed to function reliably within the fluid path and in difficult service conditions — viscous liquid concentrates, infant formula and nutritionals — transforming a standard spray dry nozzle in new or existing systems into an efficient, drip-free nozzle. The bayonet design allows for quick and easy disassembly and cleaning, and adapts to suit all spray lances and drier types.
Part of Spray Nozzle Engineering’s range of spray dry safety nozzle products, the GEN-4 Drip-Pro is available to run on all drier types, with long-term serviceability.
