The Stand-Up Bag is an alternative to hard plastic specimen jars, beakers and bottles. The Stand-Up bag can be used for sample collection, transport and testing.

The Stand-Up Bag remains flat prior to use, saving storage space and transport costs when compared to traditional sampling containers.

Unlike regular bags, however, once the sample is placed inside the bag, it will stand completely by itself. The special gusseted bottom flattens out and stands without the need for a rack or other holder.

Furthermore, after use the bag can once again be completely flattened out, dramatically reducing the volume of waste, which will cut waste disposal costs and is better for the environment.

The bags are sterilised during manufacturing, making them suitable for the collection and testing of biological as well as non-biological samples.

The bags have a convenient write-on strip for easy sample identification and are available in a variety of sizes ranging from 118 to 1242 mL.
