Tamper-evident seals

Burgess Printing & Packaging has developed smart tamper-evident seals that can be used for sealing cartons and other packaging material.

The intelligent design uses an ultra-thin 30 µm PET substrate with die cuts throughout the body of the label, which makes it very difficult to remove. The seal will self-destruct when an attempt is made to remove it. These seals are also specifically developed using a strong adhesive that will create a paper tear when peeled away and again show the presence of tampering.

The labels are available as a single- or two-layer seal.
