NatureFlex NKM, NKC and NK White high-barrier films

The high-barrier NatureFlex range of biodegradable and compostable cellulose-based packaging films has been expanded.

The high-barrier films include a lustrous metallised version, NatureFlex NKM; a range of brightly coloured films, NatureFlex NKC; and a solid white film, NatureFlex NK White. All these films provide a suitable barrier to moisture, a good barrier to gases and aromas, and have a wide heat-seal range.

Derived from renewable resources, the films are certified to meet the European EN 13432 and American ASTM D6400 composting norms. They have also been confirmed as suitable for emerging ’waste to energy’ techniques such as anaerobic digestion, aiding the diversion of organic wastes from landfill. They also offer advantages for packing and converting such as inherent deadfold and anti-static properties, high gloss and they are resistant to grease and oil.

The films are suitable for packaging confectionery, bakery goods, fresh produce, dried goods, snacks, household products and personal care items.
