Innovia Films Propafilm CHBM high-barrier metallised BOPP film

The Innovia Films Propafilm CHBM high-barrier metallised BOPP film is designed to replace aluminium foil in recyclable flexible packaging.

Combining good oxygen and moisture barrier properties with metal adhesion and thermal stability, the film is designed to replace aluminium foil in polypropylene-based laminate structures.

With its ultra-high oxygen transmission rate (OTR) and water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) barrier performance, the film can provide protection for oxygen- and moisture-sensitive products, helping preserve freshness, aroma, flavour and product quality throughout the supply chain.

Available in an 18 μm (0.72 mil) gauge, the film also features enhanced metal adhesion for robust converting performance; high optical density; reverse-side treatment suitable for lamination or surface printing; good thermal stability; and it is designed to support recyclable mono-material PP packaging structures.

The film is suitable for a range of flexible packaging applications, including: high-barrier food packaging, mono-material laminate structures, stand-up and flat pouches, applications requiring aluminium foil replacement and packaging requiring good oxygen and moisture protection.
