Wednesday, 01 April, 2015

Liqui-Box has received the Silver Award for Technical Innovation at the 2015 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards. The award, presented by the US-based Flexible Packaging Association, recognises Liqui-Box for its development and commercialisation of the FlexAsept bulk food package.

Introduced in 2012, the FlexAsept package features strong performance in flexibility, thermal resistance and oxygen transmission rate. The product reduces dunnage, extra handling and product spoilage as a result of flex cracking.

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) judged 66 package entries featuring innovative submissions that integrate consumer trends and needs with technical advancements in materials, graphics, structure and sustainability, to produce outstanding flexible packaging solutions.
