How COVID-19 is impacting global supply chains, webinar

The last instalment in the five-part global webinar series will be held on 21 October, 5.00 pm AEDT and will feature two speakers from the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP).

The interactive webinar will include a global panel of experts who will discuss how COVID-19 is impacting the global packaging supply chains.

Other prominent topics include global vs domestic supply chains; accessing sites to obtain recycled plastics; challenges with global supply chains in terms of accessing sites, machinery, production lines and delivery of equipment; and global supply chains of meat and food in general.

In collaboration with the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), the series is run by Informa Markets and supported by the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP).

Among the guest speakers is TVSSCS India Head of Packaging Anand Pathak, Vanden Recycling’s Simon Van Leuven, UCIMA Marketing Director Gian Paolo Crasta and Sealed Air APAC Sustainability Director Alan Adams.

The previous webinar in the series discussed how COVID-19 impacts the role that packaging plays in food waste and food insecurity and was held on 23 September.
