Australia shines at ProPak Asia
ProPak Asia is Asia’s number one international trade event for food, drink and pharmaceutical processing and packaging technology.
At this year’s event the Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) launched the inaugural Australian Pavilion. Accupack, Adaptapack, Confoil, HMPS, Rhima and the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) all exhibited in the APPMA-hosted pavilion. Outside the pavilion other APPMA member companies such as TNA, Heat and Control and Fibre King also exhibited at the show.
A major event during the trade show was the networking event that the APPMA ran with Austrade, which saw the Australian Ambassador for Thailand, His Excellency Paul Robilliard, and over 40 guests attend.
ProPak Asia 2016 has been a great opportunity for the Australian companies to showcase their expertise and products to potential clients in the Asean region and all agreed it was an extremely worthwhile experience.
2016 saw 40,893 visitors in the four days from 48 countries. The APPMA looks forward to not only hosting the Australian Pavilion again in 2017 but also speaking to other companies that are interested in being a part of this successful initiative. If your company is interested in exhibiting at ProPak Asia 2017 in the Australian Pavilion, contact the APPMA on appma@appma.com.au to find out more.
