Acquisition expands Detmold's manufacturing base
Detmold Group has signed an agreement to acquire Custom Cartons, a privately owned Australian carton packaging business.
Custom Cartons operates a carton-converting facility in Adelaide, adjacent to Detmold’s global head office.
Detmold Group Executive Chairman Rodney Detmold said the plant would supplement his company’s offshore carton production facilities.
“The acquisition will benefit Custom Cartons’ clients by providing access to additional capability and an expanded product range,” he added.
Custom Cartons will continue to trade under its current brands, and from its existing premises, as a division of the Detmold Group. All existing Custom Cartons management and staff will be transferred to the Detmold Group.
