Accuweigh has a range of form, fill and seal machines (FFS) and vertical form, fill and seal machines (VFFS).

The full range of FFS machines is claimed to encompass all packaging requirements. The machines are designed to automatically package product into sealed packets, pouches or satchels.

The range of VFFS seal machines is claimed to ensure a machine is available to suit every application with all associated equipment, including product conveyors and elevators, feeders, multihead weighers, etc.

Accuweigh also exclusively distributes the ESSA GI brand of VFFS machines, designed for packaging product into large bags up to 50 kg capacity and over a metre in length. The large bag machines also include horizontal models for packaging bales of hay, fodder, straw, etc.

Most FFS machines are configured for product weighing or dosing to be performed overhead and then dropped vertically down into the forming section of the FFS machine - also called a VFFS machine. Other types of FFS machines can have their forming tubes arranged at either an inclined angle or even horizontally positioned.

The AccuPak models of FFS machines are suitable for: quad seal bags, laminated film for larger bags, smaller bags, in a twin configuration, high-speed operation, loose products and powders, fragile products and extra-large bags of product.
