Okura A1800 palletising robot
Kockums Bulk Systems will be presenting complete packaging solutions comprising bagging, palletising and wrapping or hooding systems, together with common ancillaries such as pallet dispensers, slip-sheet applicators and conveyors at AUSPACK PLUS 2013.
An Okura Robot is regularly part of these systems, and may be seen operating on the Kockums stand. Kockums has been supplying the A1600 Okura Robot, capable of 1600 movements per hour and the A1800 Okura Robot is an upgrade. These 4-axis robots have been designed for palletising bags or boxes.
Currently, there are more than of 30 of these systems in operation around Australasia with further installations currently under construction. These bagging and palletising systems are typically capable of 20 bags per minute. Other recently developed machines are also able to produce large bales of products like lucerne.
Kockums maintains a fully trained service team that arranges installation, commissioning and training, and is available when required to ensure the best performance and availability of the equipment.
